A Domestic Boiler:
A domestic boiler heats water to provide hot water and central heating for a home. The boiler uses a fuel source like gas, oil, or electricity to create heat, which is then transferred to water. The heated water is circulated through pipes to radiators or radiant floor systems, where it warms the air. Our Demonstrator: At the heart of DarbyTech’s Burner Demonstrator is a cutaway heating block from a modern domestic combination boiler. This has been cut away to show the internal heating block and frame. The isolation valve, gas solenoid, control valve, control unit, and fan have been removed from the boiler and mounted on the trainer. This demonstrates the operation of the key components within a domestic boiler, including the safety features necessary to prevent the possibility of a gas escape or a flame returning to the gas supply.
