Hydrogen has a long list of benefits that make it a desirable source of renewable energy. The universe is made up from many different components, but hydrogen takes up 75% of the universe’s mass.
By 2030, the hydrogen production industry is estimated to be worth in excess of 225 billion USD. The future of the hydrogen industry is bright as, unlike crude oil, coal and other fossil FUELS; we have an infinite supply of hydrogen. Despite the need to use fossil fuels in the process of separating elements to create hydrogen, the ratio of fuel used to fuel produced makes generating hydrogen ecologically worthwhile. In addition to being a greener alternative to fossil fuels; hydrogen assists many living species and exists in almost all plant matter. Although hydrogen is all around us, it is usually compounded with other elements thus creating the need to separate the elements to extract pure hydrogen. |
