Our Demonstrator:
DarbyTech's Electrical & Mechanical Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Demonstrator provides a hands-on learning environment for performing isolation procedures. The LOTO is designed to support our Hands-on Process Operator Skills Trainer (HPOST) and our Multi-level Separator Process Operator Skills Trainer (MSPOST).

The demonstrator features a lightweight aluminium frame and transparent 1-inch pipework for fluid tracking. Key components include:

• Process Equipment: Tank, Centrifugal pump, butterfly, ball, gate, globe valves, spectacle blinds, digital pressure indicators, pressure gauge, and digital flow indicator.
• Control & Safety: Manual pump controls, isolation, and emergency stop button.
• LOTO Accessories: Includes a shadow board with various LOTO devices (for electrical and mechanical isolations).

With a footprint of 187 cm long, 167 cm high, and 70 cm wide, and a weight of 122 kg when partially filled (20% water), the system remains compact and mobile without compromising industrial realism.

It serves as a full LOTO training solution, allowing users to practise identification of energy sources, application of locks and tags, controlled depressurisation, and verification steps in a controlled, safe environment.
