Our Trainer:
The trainer is a combination of working vessels and pumps, with interconnecting piping that is operated via an Allen-Bradley Micro 820 PLC. This trainer includes see-through operating vessels and selected piping, instrumentation and pumps. One vessel has discrete level control, the other has analogue. The trainer provides the ability to simulate the typical control loops found within tank farms with control loops for level and flow. The PLC will allow access to the PID loops to monitor and change the relevant control parameters, as well as the ability to sequence the plant start-up, operation and shut down.
